SEPTEMBER 2010 EVENTS Saturday 25th September 2010 Discoverer of milk chocolate... Lovers of chocolate have Hans Sloane to thank for the recipe which well known chocolate manufacturers Cadbury used for many years right to the present day. This year we celebrate with Ireland’s first ever Hans Sloane Chocolate Ball in the bawn of Killyleagh Castle (dress: Milk, Dark or White Tie of course!). This lavish ball will take place under marquee and everything from dinner, drink and décor will be dedicated to chocolate. Live entertainment from an international band. Cocoa...you gotta go-go! Be first in line to be part of this truly spectacular event - Tickets £100 per person.

Sunday 26th September 2010 Choc-tastic Chocolate Festival Chocolate Festival and family day under marquee in the bawn and surrounding areas of Killyleagh Castle. Funfair, chocolate parades, music, storytellers and stilt walkers will be amongst the many activities for the day. Artisan chocolate makers from all over Ireland and beyond will be demonstrating their crafts through workshops and displaying their unique chocolate inspired creations. An entrance fee of £2.50 per adult, accompanied children under 16 years free entry. Free car parking.
